Car Boy Auto Repair

I had an urgent car issue that needed to be fixed immediately. When I called Car boy auto they were able to see me on really short notice when other repair shops weren't. The team was friendly, professional and incredibly helpful. I can't recommend them enough and hope to use them again in the future. Big thanks to everyone there.

It took almost 3 hours to change the tires and all rims (brand new ones) have been scratched on top of it.P.S... not sure how to comment on the owner's response below, so posting here. As I mentioned above, it was not a mistake, b/c ALL wheels have been scratched with the same pattern - this is a systematic problem with a tiring equipment.

John and the lady(forgot to get her name) were very professional and the service they provided were quick. They managed to squeeze me in for a urgent car inspection and even offered the best deal to have brake pads replaced. Highly recommend this shop!

During my day off, I sought assistance for my car, and fortunately, this garage in Richmond was the only one capable of providing prompt service. They quickly identified and resolved the issue, freeing up my time for other pursuits. Their communication was transparent, and they demonstrated great respect for their clients. Additionally, their facilities appeared to be well-equipped, and I was pleasantly surprised to find ample parking available. In sum, I was impressed with their honesty and highly recommend them, rating them 10/10.

Great staff and very knowledgeable. I have been turned down by many shops to install aftermarket parts on my jdm vehicle and even given the FU price just for me to go away. Carboy staff was very welcoming and even agreed to do so after looking at the vehicle and giving me time to explain how the parts installation would be easy. Having installed somewhat similar parts on a few different vehicles, I knew the install was easy and straightforward and their staff concurred. I usually do my own repairs and maintenance but haven't done any since my injury and what makes it worse, it's hard to find a shop that knows how to do the work just by looking at it. I wish I had known of them sooner.

What a let down. Very poor communication skills and regard for your time.First, I booked an appointment. A few minutes later, I received a confirmation text from them confirming the time, saying if I had any questions to contact them. However, the confirmation text was confirming for an hour earlier to the time that what we had just agreed to on the phone. Naturally I called them and left a voicemail. I got no response from them. I called them the next morning (day of my appointment), no response. Ended up showing up to my appointment 40 minutes early, explaining the discrepancy again. Only in person did they confirm my appointment was for 2pm, not 1pm.They said they would call me when the car was ready. I don't live close to Carboy, so I figured I could occupy myself for an hour or two at the malls. I didn't hear anything from them for over 3 hours. Since I figured they probably wouldn't answer my phone call, I stopped by to check in on the status of my vehicle. They apologized for the delay and told me that it was because one of their hoists was not working. They also said that it should not be much longer and that my vehicle was next. I waited until 6pm (their supposed closing time), no phone call.I had no idea if they were just going to work over time or keep my car until the next morning. At this point, after about 5 hours of wasting my time, I was just tired and wanted my vehicle to go home. Nothing had been done on my vehicle. I got the keys. The lady there asked if I wanted to make an appointment for the next day. I felt really stupid to say yes, but I did anyways. I've changed my mind, and will not be going there today, or ever again. Would call them to let them know, but they probably wouldn't answer, or care anyways.

The whole team at Car Boy were great to deal with. They completed a pre-vehicle inspection on our new van, service and a few other jobs in a quick timeframe. Good communication, thorough and friendly! We also loved Ozzie! Would recommend and go back to them again if we had any issues.

First time using their service and I have to say their professionalism and customer care is top priority. Definitely going back for their service in the future A++ Team in Richmond

I just popped in very quickly first thing in the morning to get my car checked after it was plowed into outside my house. I wanted to see if it was still drivable. Spoiler alert it definitely wasn't. Everyone was super nice and they put my car on the lift there and then to check for me. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be returning with my new car that I now have to buy!
